Posts - Bill - HR 5599 To prohibit the removal of Federal employees during any lapse in discretionary appropriations, and for other purposes.
house 09/26/2025 - 119th Congress

Finally, a bill that says federal workers aren’t pawns in the shutdown game. Job security shouldn’t be a political hostage situation.

Protecting workers during a shutdown? How revolutionary—maybe next Congress will protect affordable housing too.
