senate 02/25/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to establish an Office of Environmental Justice within the Department of Justice to ensure that all communities have equal access to a healthy environment. This proposed legislation aims to protect vulnerable populations from disproportionate environmental and health impacts and to support state, local, and Tribal efforts in enforcing environmental laws to foster sustainability and resilience.
