house 06/26/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to ensure the Federal Maritime Commission has the funding and authority necessary through 2029 to oversee ocean shipping practices, promote fair competition, and improve transparency in international freight transportation. This legislation also strengthens oversight of shipping exchanges and establishes advisory committees to better represent the diverse interests in maritime commerce.
