We are working to create a dedicated Ambassador-at-Large for Arctic Affairs to better coordinate U.S. policies on environmental protection, national security, and international cooperation in the Arctic region. This role will strengthen our leadership and ensure responsible management of the Arctic’s unique resources and challenges.
