house 03/11/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to ensure the integrity of our national cemeteries by amending legislation to consistently enforce the prohibition against interring individuals who have committed federal or state capital crimes. Our goal with the "Bertie's Respect for National Cemeteries Act" is to uphold these standards by disinterring George E. Siple's remains from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery and ensuring public records are meticulously checked moving forward.
