Posts - Bill - HR 1306 Tax Fairness for Survivors Act

house 02/13/2025 - 119th Congress

We're working to pass the "Tax Fairness for Survivors Act," aiming to exempt survivors of sexual assault and harassment from having to pay federal income tax on any judgments, awards, or settlements they receive. By doing so, we hope to alleviate some of the financial burdens survivors face and support their path to recovery and justice.
