We are working to honor our fallen service members and veterans by requiring that funeral honors details recite the 13 Folds of Honor while presenting the U.S. flag, ensuring each fold’s meaning is respectfully recognized during flag ceremonies. This legislation also allows families the choice to opt out if they prefer.

If this makes one more patriot feel honored at their last salute, it’s a fold well worth adding.

The 13 Folds remind us what our veterans fought for—can’t spell freedom without faith and tradition.

Finally, a bill that honors our heroes with the reverence they deserve—God, country, and flag all in one salute.
