We are working to reauthorize and update key parts of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act to ensure better protections for youth in the justice system, improve oversight and services, and address racial and socioeconomic disparities. Our goal is to promote fair, safe, and effective treatment of juveniles while helping to divert them from unnecessary confinement.
