senate 02/25/2025 - 119th Congress

We're introducing the Sickle Cell Disease Comprehensive Care Act to create a demonstration project aimed at enhancing outpatient clinical care for individuals suffering from sickle cell disease. By amending the Social Security Act, we can enable state Medicaid programs to establish health homes that specifically focus on providing comprehensive care, including dental and vision services, to those impacted by this condition. Through this initiative, our goal is to improve healthcare quality, access, and outcomes for people living with sickle cell disease.
