We are proposing H. Res. 220 to address the urgent need for Nigeria to be designated as a Country of Particular Concern due to its ongoing violations of religious freedom. Our goal is to encourage the Nigerian government to take decisive actions to prevent religious persecution, protect minorities, and support those displaced by violence, while enhancing U.S. diplomatic efforts for long-term peace and stability.
