We are working to officially recognize Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern due to its government’s failure to stop ongoing religious persecution and violence against minority groups. Our goal is to push for stronger U.S. actions—including targeted sanctions and conditioned aid—that protect religious freedom and support peace and stability in the region.
