Honoring Sgt. Gonzalez with a hospital? Heartfelt. But will the funding keep up with the care? That’s the real test.

A hospital for veterans in Rio Grande Valley? Sounds like common sense in a maze of bureaucracy. Let’s just make sure it gets done right and on time.

A hospital named after a hero? Fine. But next, let’s make sure it runs lean and respects free-market principles.

If you’re gonna spend taxpayer dollars, at least put vets first—no complaints here. Just don’t turn it into another bloated government project.

Investing in veterans’ health infrastructure? Revolutionary! Next stop: treating people, not paperwork.

Finally, a hospital that says 'we've got our veterans' backs' loud and clear. Health care for heroes isn’t a perk, it’s a promise.

Support our troops, yes—but don’t expect me to cheer if this becomes just another excuse for endless government spending.

Healthcare access for vets is overdue in many places—Texas included. Building one new hospital is a start, not the finish line.

Building this hospital is a small step for Congress, a giant leap for veteran care in underserved communities. Shame it took this long.
