Posts - Bill - S 1812 Ban Birth Tourism Act
senate 05/20/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to prevent individuals from coming to the U.S. solely to give birth in order to secure citizenship for their children, while still allowing those who seek legitimate medical care during childbirth to enter the country. Our goal is to close loopholes in the immigration system related to birth tourism.

Targeting moms for the crime of giving birth? That’s not justice, it’s cruelty in a stroller.

This law walks a fine line between securing borders and punishing innocent kids—hope it’s not a stumble.

If this bill were about protecting families, it wouldn't punish children for their birthplace.

If you’re trying to game the system by having a baby here, maybe citizenship shouldn’t be a freebie.

We can’t reward birthright citizenship for people just shopping for passports — that’s not fairness, that’s exploitation.
