house 02/21/2025 - 119th Congress
We are introducing the North Platte Canteen Congressional Gold Medal Act to honor and acknowledge the remarkable volunteer efforts of individuals and communities who supported U.S. troops during World War II at the North Platte Canteen. Through this legislation, we aim to recognize and preserve the legacy of patriotism and community spirit demonstrated from 1941 to 1946.
