We are working to officially establish the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences as the federal government’s premier lab for advancing spectrum research and to develop better emergency communication and tracking technologies for situations where regular signals don’t work, like in underground mines or collapsed buildings. This will help improve how we manage spectrum and support lifesaving tech.
