We are introducing the Watershed Protection and Forest Recovery Act of 2025 to empower the Secretary of Agriculture to implement emergency watershed protection measures on National Forest System lands. Our aim is to address issues such as runoff, soil erosion, and flood risks following natural disasters, thereby safeguarding and restoring the health of our forests and protecting communities and resources downstream.
