We're working to explore the feasibility of establishing the African Burial Ground International Memorial Museum and Educational Center at the African Burial Ground National Monument in New York. This study will help us assess how to best honor and educate about the history and cultural significance of those buried there, as well as the broader narrative of enslaved Africans in the U.S. and around the world.
