Posts - Bill - HR 5560 Statutes of Limitation for Child Sexual Abuse Reform Act
house 09/23/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to change laws that limit the time survivors of child sexual abuse have to seek justice, so that more victims can hold their abusers accountable, no matter how long ago the abuse happened. This legislation incentivizes states to remove these time barriers and allows previously expired claims to be revived.

If we toss out statutes of limitations, aren’t we just punishing people for crimes they can barely defend against?

No more expiration dates on suffering—abusers shouldn't get a free pass just because of a clock.
