Posts - Bill - S 3144 Veterans Visa and Protection Act of 2025

senate 11/06/2025 - 119th Congress

We are working to create a veterans visa program that allows noncitizen veterans who have been removed from the U.S. to return and become permanent residents, ensuring they receive the recognition and benefits they deserve for their military service. This legislation also strengthens protections to prevent the removal of veterans and service members except in cases of serious crimes.

Turning our backs on veterans is un-American; this law flips the script in the right direction.

It’s a decent gesture, but the real test will be in how it’s actually enforced.

Protecting veterans is noble, but letting every noncitizen back in after removal? That’s a slippery slope.

Finally, a bill that says 'thank you' to those who served instead of 'goodbye forever.'

A veterans visa program sounds fair, as long as it respects the law without playing favorites.
