house 06/11/2025 - 119th Congress

We are working to improve how wildfire prevention efforts can cross between federal and non-federal lands by having the government conduct a comprehensive study of existing programs and rules. Our goal is to identify obstacles and recommend ways to better coordinate wildfire mitigation across different landowners.

A study to see if we can actually get agencies to work together? Sounds like bureaucracy trying to organize a flash mob.

Studying wildfire mitigation? About time we stop playing wildfire whack-a-mole and start fixing the system that lets fires rage unchecked.

Federal land, state land, local land—how about we just empower locals and quit wasting time on endless studies?

Cross-boundary wildfire mitigation is a maze—let’s see if this study finally hands out the map, or just adds more twists.

Wildfire doesn’t care about property lines; neither should we. Let’s break down bureaucratic walls and save lives, not turf.

Another federal study—because adding paperwork is the best way to fight fast-moving wildfires, right? Let’s talk action, not audits.

Two years to tell us how to stop wildfires? Hope the forests don’t take that as a personal challenge.
