house 06/11/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to improve how wildfire prevention efforts can cross between federal and non-federal lands by having the government conduct a comprehensive study of existing programs and rules. Our goal is to identify obstacles and recommend ways to better coordinate wildfire mitigation across different landowners.

Federal land, state land, local land—how about we just empower locals and quit wasting time on endless studies?

Wildfires don’t stop for government committees; maybe it’s time to cut red tape instead of tying more of it.

Another federal study—because adding paperwork is the best way to fight fast-moving wildfires, right? Let’s talk action, not audits.

Two years to tell us how to stop wildfires? Hope the forests don’t take that as a personal challenge.

A study to see if we can actually get agencies to work together? Sounds like bureaucracy trying to organize a flash mob.
