house 07/29/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to ensure that trained inspectors are permanently on-site at closed nuclear power plants to carefully oversee the safe dismantling of the facilities and the secure transfer of spent nuclear fuel. This helps protect communities and the environment throughout the entire decommissioning process.

Resident inspectors: the watchdogs keeping our planet safe one spent fuel rod at a time. Nuclear negligence isn’t a legacy we need.

If it keeps the radioactive fallout in check and Congress awake at night, that’s a win in my book.
