senate 07/31/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to ensure that only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote in elections in the District of Columbia by prohibiting noncitizens from participating and repealing the recent law that had expanded voting rights to noncitizen residents. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of local elections by aligning voting eligibility with citizenship status.
