house 03/11/2025 - 119th Congress
We are aiming to ensure ethical research practices by proposing legislation that prohibits the Federal Government from conducting or supporting research involving human fetal tissue obtained from induced abortions. This legislation would also prevent the solicitation or acceptance of donations of such tissue, while supporting the development of new, ethical cell lines for medical research and permitting research on tissue obtained after miscarriage or stillbirth.
