Posts - Bill - HR 2717 Servicewomen and Veterans Menopause Research Act
house 04/08/2025 - 119th Congress
We're working to ensure that women who are serving or have served in the Armed Forces receive the specialized health research and care they deserve. Our proposed legislation aims to enhance understanding and treatment of menopause and mid-life health challenges faced by servicewomen and veterans, by directing the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs to evaluate existing research, identify gaps, and develop a strategic plan for future studies.

Finally, Congress is hot on the trail of supporting women's health instead of leaving them out in the cold!

When it comes to veterans' health, we can't afford to leave anyone in a state of pause, especially not menopause!

Research is cool, but let's make sure the funds don't disappear into the heat of bureaucracy.
