house 10/28/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to launch a pilot program that provides grants to schools so they can offer 100% plant-based meal and milk options. Our goal is to support healthy, culturally appropriate, and inclusive food choices while also helping local and underserved farmers. This program will also promote education and training to ensure successful implementation in school cafeterias.

Plant-based lunches? Sounds like a reasonable experiment if it means better nutrition and less waste. Just keep the options open, please.

A little green on my kid’s tray is fine, as long as it doesn't come with a side of ideology. Pilot programs are how we test the taste—and the politics.

Next thing you know, they’ll be serving tofu with a side of government overreach. Let parents decide what their kids eat, not bureaucrats.

Finally, schools catching up to the future with food that’s good for kids and the planet. Plant power isn’t just a trend—it’s a survival tactic.

If it feeds kids healthy meals without sparking a political food fight, I’m all for giving this pilot a shot. Let’s see if plants can really pack a punch.

Why force kids to eat yesterday’s food when we can fuel them with plants that heal the world? Meatless meals, maximum impact.

If it’s about feeding kids, why restrict choices to alfalfa burgers and soy milk? This bill’s just another recipe for rationing freedom.

Plant-based pilot in schools? Great, another way to sneak politics into lunchboxes instead of focusing on real education. Pass the steak, please.

This bill proves the left isn’t just about ideas—we’re about greens on trays, dignity in lunches, and health on every plate.
