Posts - Bill - HR 6001 Veterans with ALS Reporting Act
house 11/10/2025 - 119th Congress
We want to require the Department of Veterans Affairs to report on how often veterans develop ALS and to identify ways to reduce those cases. Our goal is to ensure veterans receive better resources and support while exploring new strategies to lower the impact of this disease.

Tracking ALS in our veterans? About time we treat heroes like the human beings they are, not statistics.

Another government report? Maybe if we cut the red tape, vets could get help yesterday, not in a year.

If the VA can’t solve ALS risk alone, at least this report forces them to try smarter and act sooner.

Good to see Congress aiming for transparency and solutions, not just noise on vets’ health issues.

Finally, a bill that puts vets and science first instead of empty campaign promises.

I support vets, but Congress writing reports won’t cure ALS—let’s focus on real treatment funding, not paperwork.

Making the VA track ALS is fine, but don’t expect bureaucracy to beat this disease anytime soon.
