Posts - Bill - HR 2867 Farmer First Fuel Incentives Act
house 04/10/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to ensure that clean fuel production incentives support American agriculture by requiring that feedstocks come from U.S.-grown sources, helping to strengthen domestic farming while reducing reliance on foreign materials. This legislation also updates how emissions are calculated and extends the clean fuel production credit through 2034.

If this bill means less competition and higher costs, maybe clean energy can wait a bit longer.

Keeping fuel local sounds good—but will it really clean up our act or just jack up prices?

Extending credits is great, but excluding indirect emissions feels like a clean energy loophole waiting to happen.

Finally, a bill that says 'Buy American' and 'Save the Planet' in the same breath.

Domestic-only feedstocks? Sounds less like clean energy and more like a government handout for farmers.

Encouraging domestic feedstocks is smart, but let's hope the implementation doesn’t fuel more bureaucracy.
