house 06/04/2025 - 119th Congress

We are working to improve the support veterans receive when securing home loans by enhancing the guidance lenders get on veterans' financial needs and connecting vets with nonprofit financial counseling. Additionally, we're creating a database of adapted homes for disabled veterans and increasing outreach to veterans living in U.S. territories.

Government stepping up to guide lenders? That’s progress—let’s make sure no veteran gets left behind or stuck in a predatory loan trap.

A database for adapted homes is just common sense; veterans earned the right to live comfortably without chasing paperwork.
