house 05/07/2025 - 119th Congress
We are working to reauthorize and update the Belarus Democracy Act to strengthen support for democracy, human rights, and sovereignty in Belarus, while holding accountable those responsible for election fraud, political repression, and Belarus’ involvement in Russia’s war in Ukraine. This legislation aims to promote free elections, protect civil society, and maintain targeted sanctions until real democratic progress is made.
