We are working to establish the Ralph David Abernathy, Sr., National Historic Site to preserve and protect the historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church and honor Dr. Abernathy’s significant role in the civil rights movement for future generations. This site will be managed as part of the National Park System to provide educational and interpretive services about his legacy.
