We are working to ensure transparency and accountability by directing the Secretary of Homeland Security to provide Congress with documents about how the Department handles domestic preparedness and responds to terrorism and cybersecurity threats. This will help us better understand the Department's activities and decisions, including any pauses on grants or financial assistance, to enhance our national security efforts.
